Victoria is a native of McAllen, Texas, with strong ties to the Rio Grande Valley. She received a Bachelor of Arts in History in 2015 from Texas A&M University before obtaining her law degree from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth, Texas, in 2018. Prior to joining Leon | Alcala, Victoria’s practice focused primarily on complex commercial litigation and construction defect cases. During that time Victoria represented her clients in litigation at the federal and state levels as well as through mediation. She has deposed numerous witnesses, both factual and expert; defended countless depositions; and handled multiple cases with demands for millions of dollars.
Victoria’s practice now focuses on general school law matters, including assisting school districts with construction contracts, procurement, economic development, and dispute resolution, with the goal of safeguarding her client’s rights and interests and helping avoid costly litigation. If litigation is necessary, however, Victoria has the experience to handle cases from commencement to favorable resolution. In addition, Victoria is experienced in providing training to administrators and board trustees on topics including Title IX, the Texas Open Meetings Act, and the Texas Public Information Act. Victoria takes pride in building and maintaining client relationships. As the daughter of a life-long educator, Victoria is committed to providing the best representation and counsel for public schools in Texas.
